One day in Vancouver with the bridge works best as the bridge in the morning and the city after: the free park shuttle from Canada Place, two to three hours in the park, then Stanley Park, Granville Island and Gastown. On your own

• Morning: the bridge. Take the first shuttles from Canada Place, about 20 minutes, with an early entry time. Two to three hours covers the bridge, the Treetops and the Cliffwalk (what the ticket covers). The ticket is from US$56 a person (checked October 2026).
• Midday: Stanley Park. The shuttle brings you back to Canada Place; the park is on the downtown peninsula, with its totem poles and the seawall.
• Afternoon: Granville Island. The public market on False Creek, with docks for the small Aquabus and False Creek ferries.
• Evening: Gastown. The oldest part of the city, with the steam clock on Water Street, a short walk from Canada Place.

Swap the afternoon for Grouse Mountain if the sky is clear: bus 236 carries on from the bridge to the Skyride (Grouse Mountain and Capilano).

All three include the Capilano admission and hotel pickup. The trade-off is time: you get about an hour and a half at the bridge, against the two to three hours the park suggests, so a slow walker who wants the Cliffwalk and the Treetops too may prefer the shuttle.
